蔗尾蜂房

2000年，被媒體稱之為赤軍女皇的重信房子(1945- )在大阪被逮捕，次年在獄中宣布日本赤軍解散。在獄中，她開始撰寫詩歌。在此，暫且不去評價她從事的激進恐怖主義活動，單純試著從詩歌去理解、感受她的生平與心境。

重信房子被捕後，拘禁在足立區小菅町的東京拘置所，包夾在荒川與綾瀨川兩河匯流之地，又被中央環狀線高架道路與常磐線、千代田線、東武伊勢崎線等電鐵環繞，她在所內想必會聽見像蟬鳴不絕似的，外間世界川流不息的噪音吧！

我注意到她招喚出「まほろば」（Mahoroba）這個《古事記》和歌中的古語，意思是優美安寧的山河，對巴勒斯坦形容自己的國度，接到父親的電話，則說是「祖國」打來的，感受到她對國家的複雜感情，與不同情境時各種不同的思考。從她的父親重信末夫所涉及的極右翼的血盟團事件（1932），到她自己終身投入的極左翼的赤軍連，兩代人所想改變的國家終究沒有往他們所想的方向去改變，國家隨著時間只會改變得讓人覺得面目全非，讓人覺得曾幾何時自己已如此不合時宜。

這首是在懷念東大安田講堂事件吧！1969年1月17-18日，全共鬥的學生佔領了安田講堂，並效法1968巴黎學生運動，在東大周邊的御茶水地區築起街壘，阻止鎮暴警察開入，重信房子當時就讀的明治大學就在該區。水仙花在日本的一月底二月初開花，學生的街壘大概也像水仙四處瀰漫的香味一樣，雖薄弱卻令人感動吧！

重信房子的母校明治大學四周有很多以行道樹為名的道路，像是雁木坂、皂角坂、かえで通（楓木）、紅梅通、小櫻通等，這邊說的マロニエ之路，是英文俗稱Horse Chestnut（馬栗子樹）的歐洲七葉樹的法文俗稱marronnier，其實是指とちの木通（栃木）。不知為何，這條可能只有當時當地的學生以此稱呼、通往神田河岸、路樹成蔭的下坡小路，已令我非常著迷，更不要提抱著滿手的傳單出校園與君見面的動人場景了。

It’s been more than ten days on the plateau.

In Indonesian,
eating the wind means taking a walk,
brisk and elegant.

Eating the wind
means running away
in Japanese.
But I am not running away from the city,

You and I clawing to the edge
of the bed, knotting and
unbraiding, rushing the death-blow
of poppies glimpsed in summer.

In the morning we talked about the
gray-swept graveyards of Gubbio,
chilled to solid but decanted in
half-light, the lips of jugs.

But in this church of honed edges
today has melted its images out.
Noiseless, we walk towards the altar
along the tear marks snaking down

known only to the bride.
