同樣進取、同樣矯健、同樣大膽
同樣說個不停，同樣騙過查票員混進戲院
而今同樣白髮蒼蒼，同樣子孫滿堂，夫復何求？

同樣蹲過苦牢
同樣領教過猛烈的地獄之火
幹！管它有沒有天堂？！
與老友見面比上什麼天堂都好

ah, sama-sama muda kita ketika
sama giat sama lincah sama berani
sama cerewet, di bioskop sama menipu penjaga pintu
kini kepala sama beruban, sama beranak-cucu, mau apa lagi!

sama-sama masuk ke purgatorio
sama menempuh biadabnya inferno
persetan! Ada atau tidak itu paradise?!
ketemu sahabat lama mahabagia daripada di surga mana pun!

we were young then,
both strong, lively, and daring
we stuck into the movies together,
past the unwitting guard
now we are old and grey, we have grandchildren,
we have lived full lives

we have been through purgatory
experienced the heat of the inferno
damn! Is there a heaven or not?
meeting an old friend produces more pleasure than any paradise
