我家築在一堆堆詩上
玻璃明亮從外面一覽無遺

我奔出廣廈前庭
我迷了路不會走

傍晚時我撐起的帳篷
在早上飛得不知去向

彷彿還遙遙無期，卻說來就來
我不再求近黃昏
任甜言蜜句雜亂無章

Rumahku dari unggun-timbun sadjak
Katja djernih dari luar segala nampak

Kulari dari gedong lebar halaman
Aku tersesat tak dapat djalan

Kemah kudirikan ketika sendjakala
Dipagi terbang entah kemana

Rumahku dari unggun-timbun sadjak
Disini aku berbini dan beranak

Rasanja lama lagi, tapi datangnja datang
Aku tidak lagi meraih petang
Biar berleleran kata manis madu
Djika menagih jang satu

I’m lost, I can’t find the way

I pitched a tent in the twilight
By morning it had flown who knows where

My house is built of heaped-up poems
Here’s where I married and had children

It feels like a long wait, but it will come
Now I don’t grope for the afternoon, the evening
Let the honeyed words melt
If anyone comes to collect on them.
