一道無可名狀的斜光
在無數冬季午後
沉沉壓下如粗重的
大教堂鐘聲

它給我們天罰般的創傷
我們找不到外傷
可它對內在的改變
正是厲害之所在

無人能勸解它一絲一毫
它是封印般的絕望
一種至高無上的痛苦
來自四面八方

當它駕臨時山水傾聽
諸般光影屏息
當它回轡時它的冷淡
恰似死亡的容顏

There's a certain slant of light
Winter afternoons,
That oppresses like the heft
Of cathedral tunes.

Heavenly hurt it gives us.
We can find no scar
But internal difference
Where the meanings are.

None may teach it any—
'Tis the seal despair,
An imperial affliction
Sent us of the air.

When it comes the landscape listens,
Shadows hold their breath.
When it goes 'tis like the distance
On the look of death.
